What is a special effects makeup artist called?
SFX makeup artists:
First of all, let’s get a few definitions out of the way. SFX makeup artists use make-up and prosthetics to give performers abrasions, wounds, deformities, animal features: you name it! They can make an actor look slightly older—or create an otherworldly monster.

Introduction:
* This course is for educated Makeup Artists only. If you are a beginner please consider one of the professional programs.
Special effects makeup (non-prosthetics) opens the door to a whole new world of makeup artistry that can be used in both TV, film, and creative disciplines. The subjects and learnings include scars, injuries, age transformation, bald caps, and more. During this course, students are getting familiar with some of the best materials, applications, and production techniques in non-prosthetics special effects.

Students will experiment with latex, wax, and gel to create textures, colors, and contours. Techniques for the application of bald caps, beards, mustaches, and sideburns are covered. The students produce realistic trauma including scars, bullet holes, lacerations, bruises, scabs, cuts, blisters, and burns.

As part of the exam, students develop and apply special effects makeup for a scripted character blurring the lines between illusion and reality.

COURSE THEMES:
Students will learn the following educational themes:
Refine the application of structural makeup crèmes, highlights, and shadows to depict the aging of the face and hands.
Analyze and compare professional products and their uses.
Test products for allergic reactions on human skin.
Identify and correctly label the anatomical structure of the face with regards to bones & muscles
Apply latex correctly for depicting scars, warts, and aging.
Apply wax correctly to depict bullet holes, scars, cuts, lacerations & road rash.
Interpret wounds from photos and recreate them through the correct application of techniques.
Recreate blisters and boils through the application of special makeup products.
Apply a structural makeup using carrying techniques to depict bruises, old and new.
Use makeup effects to depict cuts, scratches, black eyes, dirt and blister damage, scabs, and drawn cuts.
Understand characteristics of first, second, and third-degree burns.
Depict second and third-degree burns with gel effects.
Apply a bald cap correctly and color to models skin tones accurately.
Prepare crepe hair correctly for the application.
Lay beards, mustaches, and sideburns using crepe hair.
Trim and style beards, mustaches & sideburns.
Review the application and cleaning of a ventilated mustache.
Develop and apply the appropriate special makeup requirements for a scripted character.

In this course, you going to learn professionally from A to Z about Professional Special Effects Makeup and work with the team by international Bello Models Academy and get the international Certificate and also Introduction to the work within 3 international Promoting databases. And remember this Bello Academy isn’t just an academy it’s about learning to experience and getting a job after training with an international certificate.

Registration conditions:
1- Adults aged 15 to 55 years
2- Casting test certificate – grade. C
Attention: If you haven’t yet a test certificate, don’t worry. we will proceed to the casting test at the same time as the registration. the casting test doesn’t mean you will be rejected or succeed. The casting test is for determining the branch of Special Effects Makeup volunteers. for example: Makeup for TV or film, etc.

Required Documents:
Complete the below form and attach the requested documents as follows:
– 4 photos ( 2 full-length and 2 half-height and face ) normal photos with no photoshop.
– Photo of your national identity card
– And follow the form requirements

Course fee:
The cost of Special Effects Makeup Course + introduce to the job is, 1500 euro + Casting test grade c fee (99 euro)
Total: 1599 Euro.
Also do not worry about spending, because you will be earning this money in the first months of starting work. And it’s not a cost, it is an investment in your ability and interests.

Course specifications:
3 months of online academic training with video courses and weekly submissions + exams (every two weeks)+ international certificate from Paris with the Paris fashion standard stamp + Professiona Special Effects Makeup Artist profile and online album + introduction and presentation to work in your country immediately after the graduate + Official contract + International ID card from Paris. 

After submitting the documents in the first stage of the test, the result and certificate (the branch and orientation of the student) will be sent by email to the volunteer within 24 to 48 hours. After determining the result of the test, the curriculum will be sent and the lessons will start the next coming Monday.
After graduation, you going to have: job booking manager, compiling files and resumes, preparing the online album and starting the advertising, and finally presenting the work and generating income, and sending the official ID card from Paris.

Due to the limited number of annual employments and high demand, priority will be given to those who act sooner. It is not possible to register after completing the capacity.
